Grooming Services
These Terms & Conditions apply to the Groomed by Valerie website, appointment requests, customer communications, SMS messaging, and grooming services.
Service availability, pricing, appointment length, and grooming recommendations may vary based on factors including breed, pet size, coat type, coat condition, temperament, requested services, and the amount of grooming required.
Final pricing and service recommendations may be confirmed before or during an appointment if additional grooming needs become apparent.
Appointments
Customers are responsible for providing accurate contact, pet, and appointment information.
Appointments may occasionally need to be modified or rescheduled because of availability, emergencies, pet health or behavioral concerns, or other circumstances affecting the safe completion of grooming services.
Pet Health and Safety
Customers should disclose medical conditions, allergies, sensitivities, behavioral concerns, previous grooming difficulties, or other information that may affect the grooming process.
Groomed by Valerie may modify, pause, or decline a grooming service when continuing would reasonably create a safety or welfare concern for the pet or groomer.
SMS Messaging Program
Groomed by Valerie offers optional SMS messaging for customers and prospective customers who voluntarily provide consent.
Customers may separately consent to receive informational messages and promotional or marketing messages.
Informational SMS messages may include:
- Appointment confirmations
- Appointment reminders
- Scheduling updates
- Grooming service updates
- Customer service responses
Marketing or promotional SMS messages may include:
- Rebooking reminders
- Review requests
- Grooming offers

SMS consent is optional and is not a condition of purchasing or requesting any Groomed by Valerie service.

You must be 18 years of age or older to use the Groomed by Valerie SMS messaging service.
Opting Out of SMS Messages

After opting out, you may receive a final confirmation message stating that your SMS subscription has been canceled.
If you later wish to receive SMS messages again, you may opt in again through an approved Groomed by Valerie consent form.
